Facebook is very curious about they’re security, So the developer of the Facebook app takes the security to the next level for their Apple iPad and iPhone.

Facebook has now added an extra layer of security. The app of Facebook can now self-lock itself right after losing. Though, it would require Face ID or Fingerprint ID to get unlocked for the user. This means that no one will be allowed to barge in the FB app besides the user.

Facebook named this feature as App lock. It is not only the new feature that is rolling out from Facebook Inc. In fact, in upcoming months Facebook is doing a lot of changes to its messenger app as well.

Facebook is working hard for its users to give them an easy or comfortable experience. In the last days, They have done many major changes in their Web apps as well as mobile apps. They add new features like Darkmode and added a new interface for the FB Web.

As mentioned up the feature hasn’t been rolled out completely. Only a small number of iOs users have approved to use it. The company still hadn’t posted the details regarding the App lock feature. Facebook is working hard for users to get more control over who can message them. It is also going to blur the images of a random person who messages and the pictures won’t be opened until the recipient allows.

The company posted a statement that read. “To use it, you will look for a new option within Messenger’s Privacy Settings. This is in the same settings where you can find controls that allow you to mute stories or block users.
